Do you replace the battens and membrane as well?
Yes. A proper re-roof goes back to the rafters, with new breathable membrane, new treated battens, new tiles or slates and new ridge details.
How long does a re-roof take?
It depends on the size of the roof and the access. Your written quote sets out the plan before work starts.
Will you push a new roof when a repair would do?
No. If a repair will do the job, you are quoted for the repair and told why.
Can I change the colour when replacing my roof?
Colour is part of the material choice. Check any property-specific planning restrictions before settling on a different finish.
What should I move out of the loft?
Clear the working space and protect stored items against dust. Fragile belongings are better kept away from overhead roofing activity.
