Director, Imperial Roofers Ltd · Ruislip
Johnny O’Donoghue, John to his customers, runs Imperial Roofers Ltd from Ruislip. The family has been in the roofing trade for three generations, and John has been on Checkatrade since February 2020, building 85 reviews and a 9.97 out of 10 score. He looks at every roof himself, explains what he has found, and keeps you informed until the scaffold comes down.
His customers say the same things again and again: honest, hard-working, easy to talk to, turned up on time, fair price, site left in perfect condition.
Every job starts with a free site visit, with no call-out charge. John looks at the roof himself, flies the drone on tall or awkward roofs, and traces the fault before quoting. You get the work and the price in writing, with no hidden costs. If a repair will do, that is what you are quoted for.
On site we protect the house, keep you informed of the schedule and progress, and leave everything clean. New roofs are guaranteed for 25 years and new flat roofs for 20. On repairs, the guarantee is agreed on site and written down.

From start to finish, I was kept informed by John of the schedule and progress of what was going on. The work was carried out very efficiently and professionally and swiftly with no delays and very little inconvenience. I am extremely pleased with the end result and ready for the coming winter. I would definitely recommend Imperial Roofers Ltd to my family, friends and acquaintances. George (hayes)Read it on Google
John was incredibly helpful and communicative throughout the job. His was the 2nd of 3 quotes I secured and was the most reasonable from the start. The other suppliers I met with were pushy, but John was professional and fair from the outset. The repairs were completed quickly and the team left the site in perfect condition.Read it on Google
John at Imperial Roofers was so very helpful. An immediate response to my roof repair. We had slipped and potentially dangerous roof slates. John was easy to talk/explained the process and maintained telephone contact. The use of his drone was also constructive. I will definitely keep his details and use him again for any other roof project. Geoff P. 5D Architects Ltd .Read it on Google
From initial contact to the scaffolding coming down and final tidy up, the communication was excellent. I always knew what was going on. The work was carried out extremely quickly (I don’t think I’ve ever seen tradespeople work so quickly), but to a very high standard. The team were polite and helpful. I would highly recommend.Read it on Google
I was recommended Imperial Roofers Ltd by my brother after they did an amazing job on his roof, and I’m so glad I went with them. The whole experience was excellent from start to finish. The team were professional, friendly, reliable and did a fantastic job. The quality of the workmanship was brilliant, and they clearly take pride in what they do. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Imperial Roofers Ltd to anyone looking for a trustworthy roofing company.Read it on Google
John was very responsive from the start. He turned up on the day of our initial call to assess the job and was back the next morning with Nick to complete the repair. They were polite, punctual, professional, and got the job done right. Five stars!Read it on Google
